Sydney Foodie – Immersed in Sydney’s Food, Beverage and Culture (4 or 8 hr tours).
Join us as we explore Sydney’s diverse culinary scene, blending fresh ingredients and cultural influences into uniquely Australian dishes.
As we travel across the city you will see the iconic sites of Sydney, including The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House and hear stories of how food has played a leading role in shaping the Harbour city, from the first nations people& colonialists to our post war European migration to our recent Asian “fusion”.
Depending on the day, the season and the tour we will explore Sydney’s ‘beachy’ food offerings, Providores and Patisseries across town, Asian food hubs, The Fish Markets, and trendy social hubs that innovate food styles. From Sydney Rock Oysters, Prawns, Kingfish and Blue Swimmer Crabs to adapted French, Chinese, Malaysian, Japanese and Italian cuisines. Also sample our own Meat Pies, Lamingtons and Smashed Avo on toast, washed down with coffee, a craft amber ale or a stunning wine.
